Punta Allen, a small town two hours south of Tulum although still considered Tulum. The trip takes you down a dirt road, conditions vary throughout the trip. We were unfortunate and found a tire piercing rock in one of the puddles. We made a few stops on the way as there are little paths to drive off the road to venture either onto the mangrove side or beach side. The beaches are desolate and amazing. The weather the day of our trip was on and off clouds with the sun only appearing very late in the day. We ventured past Punta Allen down the same road that is covered with vegetation to get the drone shots of the light house.
